Let the building begin.....

Yesterday I woke up to some great great news! After a year and a half of helping to raise funds I saw the first photos of the broken ground being prepared for the building that will educate the future NEEMA and SHIMO girls. What a beautiful site. I remember standing on that same ground dreaming of what it would be like to see the property bursting with energy, excitement, and hope for a different. I hope this is just the beginning.

In two weeks from today I will be back in Kitale, KENYA to greet the girls in both of these programs. We hope to make some jewelry, hair accessories, and bags to share with you all. We must keep working on raising funds for the home to site next to the school building to house some of the girls who need it.
