FIRST ETSY SALE

**business cards designed by Ashley Stracuzzi of Weddings and Such**

Today was such a special day for me! I know it sounds silly, but when you start something new it always fun to make your first sale! I was so excited packaging up my first set of bobby pin clips from the African Print Collection to send to my first ETSY customer. THANK YOU!

Rehobeth Beach Sale

I love sending people out to tell the story of the NEEMA and SHIMO girls projects, but I usually stay behind and anxiously await phone calls or texts to find out how things are going. On Thursday, Megan Wagner (who traveled with me to Kenya in 2009) and I loaded up her Honda with all sorts of things to be displayed for a group of women from the church she grew up in.
Megan and Revee TenHuesin (who also traveled to Kenya in 2009) are spending the weekend in Rehobeth Beach telling stories, selling african creations, and hopefully have lots of fun. THANK YOU to the generous women who allowed us to be there! Hoping it is a wonderful weekend for all of you!

Bloomsburg University Sale

On Tuesday, April 19th, I had the pleasure of holding a Mosaic Designs sale at Bloomsburg University. It was hosted by Lauren Spiller who is a student there and will be heading to Kenya with me this summer. We set up a table and sold scarves, bags made by the NEEMA girls, Kenyan jewelry, and some of the hair clips and headbands that are part of the new Mosaic Design collection.
I love having the opportunity to watch as new people are not only exploring the products but hearing the story about Transformed International and the girls that are being offered hope through the opportunities they have. It was such a fun experience being there and watching people sift through the colorful scarves and trying hair clips to pick their new favorites. After 5 1/2 hours of selling we made right around $700. The funds from the sale are going directly to the expansion of the NEEMA and SHIMO Projects.
THANKS to all of you who came out to make purchases and support the girls. We were also so EXCITED to be asked to come back. We look forward to visiting with you, and giving an update in the fall!
