Bloomsburg University Sale

On Tuesday, April 19th, I had the pleasure of holding a Mosaic Designs sale at Bloomsburg University. It was hosted by Lauren Spiller who is a student there and will be heading to Kenya with me this summer. We set up a table and sold scarves, bags made by the NEEMA girls, Kenyan jewelry, and some of the hair clips and headbands that are part of the new Mosaic Design collection.
I love having the opportunity to watch as new people are not only exploring the products but hearing the story about Transformed International and the girls that are being offered hope through the opportunities they have. It was such a fun experience being there and watching people sift through the colorful scarves and trying hair clips to pick their new favorites. After 5 1/2 hours of selling we made right around $700. The funds from the sale are going directly to the expansion of the NEEMA and SHIMO Projects.
THANKS to all of you who came out to make purchases and support the girls. We were also so EXCITED to be asked to come back. We look forward to visiting with you, and giving an update in the fall!
